This is such a fun book! It is a beautiful book to flip through filled with fun projects to sew. The directions are very clear and include photos. I’ve made 5 of the “Miss Messenger” bag now and I just love it. Great buy. Debbie Shore does not dissapoint.

I wish this were in spiral binding, but I can remedy that issue myself. Other than that this has been a great brush-up on long-forgotten sewing and patterns as well!! I haven’t gotten to get very far into this as we’ve been a bit busy. I do have a severe traumatic brain injury so relearning things constantly. And this book is one of my favorites already!!

Love this book! Have made two versions of the messenger bag pattern so far using fabric scraps from other projects. Very easy to follow, has turned out great. Nice way to use interesting, small amount of fabric.

The ideas in this book are really cute. There is a lot of variety in the patterns, and instructions on how to do extra things like envelope zippered pockets. The pictures are fantastic and so helpful. There are probably other ways of creating these bags that might be used if a person is a more advanced sewer, but these instructions are perfect for beginners.

There are so many interesting and innovative details to learn, while making each of these bags. Very cool designs. I love the snap on straps on the sides. Can't wait to sew these. Fun!!

This is an awesome book you will not be sorry you ordered this book. Debbie Shore is an awesome author and she goes in great detail that you can see in the book I'm so looking forward to making all of these purses

Love these books by Debbie Shore. So easy to follow and her videos on youtube support the books and are first class. I'm a novice but I've been able to make loads of goodies from her books - bags, blinds, aprons, tea cosies - the list is endless. I highly recommend them and can guarantee you'll be able to make some lovely items. IF I CAN, ANYONE CAN! (So say my family who can't believe I can now sew, I once sewed my tree shirt to the table cloth and had to shout for help!!)

I love Debbies designs so classy and professional looking. I am fairly new to bag making and found some of the written instruction a little sparse and I personally needed a little more detail. Often having to improvise myself as I didnt quite understand what she meant. I would not recommend for a total beginner unless you can get help. ie she wraps a 2" mesh with 2.5" fabric which is impossible.

I absolutely love Debbie Shaw. I purchase every book so I have a very large collection. This book is amazing. It’s been cleverly put together and the patterns are very easy to follow.If you enjoy making gifts for friends and family then this book is for you. I’ve made many bags and other stuff to give out as gifts, I enjoy creating lovely handmade gifts for others.Excellent book as they all are 😀

Another smashing book by Debbie Shore. There are lots of bag and purse projects to keep you occupied. each project as clear step by step instructions. There are lots of photos of the bags been constructed so you can follow easily.The whole book is written in plain English which I think is excellent.It is easy to use . Gently increases on your skills so you become more proficient.

Nice designs. 'How to ' can be a little confusing if you are a novice. The 4 little templates at the end of the book (which I have nearly missed) could be made of re-usable Plastic to keep in the cover, like the other bag book (Totes) I recently bought, instead of just being thrown in on a page at the end for you to have to make a template of.
