My baby is 17 pounds and usually 6-9 months will fit her great with a little room left.I ordered this Sherpa Sweater in a 6-9 months but it was too tight with no room to wear throughout the winter in the United States.I sent it back, ordered an 18 months and it fits great with a little extra room to wear throughout the winter.Clothes should not be too tight or just fitting an infant, babies need that extra room for movement and flexibility.This Sherpa Sweater is quite nice and warm.I do recommend but sizing up may be beneficial to families seeking to make this purchase.
