I've been scouring Amazon to find the best containers to hold bulk items for my open pantry, and these are definitely on the top of my list!I got the 2 pack of 1 Gallon (3L) jars and I was hoping it would be large enough to hold a full bag of flour. It was nearly perfect! (see photo for 4 lb sugar bag and 5 lb flour comparison) I couldn't get the last half inch or so in the jar without making a mess.All in all the jars seem well made. Nice solid, non-toxic glass and the seals work well. It does take a bit of pulling to remove the lid, so hopefully, I will no longer get bugs in my flour! The seals are plastic however and not the firm almost rubber material you see in candles sometimes. There was a tiny bit of a plastic smell when I opened them, but once I washed them the smell was gone. You can see in one of the photos that the edges of the seal are bent/folded over a bit. It looks like excess that didn't get cut off in production, but there should be enough layers/rings that it shouldn't affect the seal.The packaging was excellent! I doubt there are ever issues with breakage in transport. Get them! They're super cute!

The set of gallon jars came carefully packed so there were no chips or breakage. They have an attractive apothecary look. After I ran the jars and lids though the dish washer, I very carefully took the lid seal off so there wouldn't be any water residue. When putting the seal back on, the notches in the seal go towards the jar and away from the top of the lid. The jar and lid fit snugly and that's a plus for me. The large jars easily hold 4 pounds. I needed to put the overflow from the 5 pound bag of flour in a canning jar. I also purchased the three smaller 1/2 gallon jars which comfortably hold a 2 pound bag of brown sugar/powdered sugar. I keep the jars in the pantry away from light and heat although I think they would also look good on the counter. I plan on using the jars for dry goods so I did not test the tightness of the seal with liquids. I am very satisfied with the price, function and quality of this purchase.

These are beautiful, well made glass containers. The only issue I had with them was they came to me with mold in the lids behind the sealer. My guess is it had to do with condensation in shipping. The problem I have with this is unlike other sealers, these are not coming off easily if at all. When you wash the lid it holds water behind the seal.What we did to remove seals...To get seals off ... soak them in hot water to soften them. They came right off and I was able to sanitize them and get the water out before replacing. Great seller, great packing.

These jars are thick and durable! I use them for snacks in my open pantry. Seals well and are transparent! They are the perfect size for a regular box of cookies or nuts.4/11/25 update.The jars still look like they are brand new. Excellent quality. My husband and kids love when I put new snacks in them.

I bought these hoping they would be great at holding water, which they are... but getting the water out when you want to use or drink it just makes a ridiculous mess. These are not meant for pouring and are just big enough to be a little awkward handling when trying to pour SO now they are going to be a really nice on the counter holder for things like pasta. They came amazingly well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. They seal pretty good with the plastic bit around the lid. The glass seems a little thin so I wouldn't suggest trying to store water or make ice tea like I was trying to do but for looking awesome in your pantry or on your counter holding stuff they are really nice.

The media could not be loaded. These jars are so nicely made and big! I love love love them. They’re going to be perfect for our pantry. I plan to etch them and store dried goods in them. I liked them so much I made a video on how impressed I was with the packaging and the delivery. They have a nice heavy weight to them and a super well made top with what I believe is a silicone gasket seal. It was really secure and I felt comfortable that it would stay airtight. I want more to add to my counters! I’d totally recommend them for kitchens, bathrooms,an office or craft rooms. I could think of a hundred things to put in them. They’d also make cool gifts. Either as a set or split into two separate ones.
