Great product.
I used this product in two large utility rooms. First coat looked ok but not great so I ordered more of this product and applied a second coat. I used two boxes on 1st and one on second. Looks great and was easy to apply.

happy with the new floor
We are very happy with this floor. Make sure to read the instructions on prep and mixing. The color is great. The only complaint I have is when we mopped it some of the shine went away, so we will continue to just spot clean with a wet rag, no more chemicals. We are going to purchase more to finish the rest of the area. Very happy with outcome.

Pretty shiny-looks better than before
While I recommend Rustoleum Rocksolid-I have a couple of points to make. One-it is not a one-man job to do a two car garage. The paint does harden after 45 to 60 minutes and one has to be quick. Also the provided roller tends to shred as the paint gets thick stickier and stickier at the end. Also in retrospect I probably would not paint my floor a dark color as it shows up dust from foot prints and tires. The other issue is the Mica (metalic silver specs) that is added to the paint before application. It tends to rise to the top level of the paint. If one does not stir the paint continuously then there is an uneven application of these metallic flakes on the floor. Also in retrospect I will probably would not paint my floor a dark color as it shows up dust from foot prints and tires.I was a little surprised that when a rock stuck to the bottom of my trashcan-it scratched the paint. I thought it was a lot harder than it was.One other important note is that if one is going to remove parts of original paint is probably better to use primer as the bare concrete sucked up so much paint I had to buy more to cover up the pale sections. Preparation is the most important partOverall I would recommend this product despite the above problems. Don’t try painting alone. Pick a lighter color than smoky blue.

Two coats are needed. Buy double the amount for one car garage package
I’m a professional painter of over 25 years. I bought this for my new one car garage. Two coats are needed with this product. The first coat did not completely cover. I bought the one car garage package. That was barely enough for one coat.I don’t have the time to place and ship another order to paint a 2nd coat.Wish I knew. I already tossed some flakes on top.All my stuff is covered outside getting rained on.Expensive and they should supply more to paint a 2nd coat.I will warn my painter friends about this problem with product.

Not worth it!
I am very disappointed with this product. I bought 3 pouches of it. I prepared the floor by cleaning and even put down a coat of Valspar bonding over the old floor. Left this to dry for 3 days. Then we rolled it on. We didn’t walk on it for 4 days and didn’t drive on it for 6 days. The floor is peeling up where the tires are on it and it scratched with the trailer tongue is. I would not invest in this time and money if I were you.

Way better than the other!
I have put down the older rustoleum garage floor stuff. The kind you would throw paint flakes on. This stuff is so much better! Looks fantastic also! Has a sheen to it that is just nice.

Super easy
This floor is in a basement of an old church. The floor is not cement but some other type. I had to use the primer recommended and still had issues. The primer will cover adhesive and if I had know this before I sanded some of it off it would have been so much easier. Overall great product

YOULL NEED MORE THAN 1 BOX AND NOT A 1 person job
Speaking from experiencePLAN PLAN PLAN AND PLAN SOME MOREOne box is said to do 250 sq ft or a one car garage. Really it BARELY does about 200 max on the best of days with the best of preparation. You MUST buy at least 2 kits. You CANNOT try to thin out the epoxy to make the product last. It will appear as a thin coat that you can see straight through, even with black epoxy. If you are to buy only one kit you will make more work for yourself. Once the floor dries after 12 hrs and you realize you need another coat or did not cover everything, but don’t have another box on hand: you’ll find the typical time in takes to order a new coat will fall outside of the 48hr mark to do a second coat. If you apply a second coat after 48hrs you’ll most likely have to sand the floor, rinse it, wait 24hrs to dry, and then apply your second coat. Where as if you bought more than one box to begin with, you can apply more epoxy and coats without that sand and rinse work as long as the previous coat is dry and not tacky. It is NOT a one person job either. You have barely 45min of workable epoxy time. And as time goes by it becomes thicker and harder to roll. You have to do the edges of the wall FIRST and brush them out by hand with a 3inch latex paint brush about a foot out from the wall. By the time you’ve done that in your 1 car garage with just yourself you won’t have enough time left to do the actual floor. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES use the epoxy after 45min. It will not roll evenly on the floor. The second you find the epoxy starts to become harder to work with do not try to keep going. So I ended up buying 3 boxes total over 3 weeks, sanding and rinsing the floor after the first attempt for a 1 car garage and my better half had to help me.
