VALENTINES GIFT, & HE LOVED THE CANDY, THIS IS ONE GREAT CANDY!

Nearly every single square had crumbled to pieces in its wrapper. I'm honestly not sure what I was expecting—obviously the truck rides were not going to be gentle on these delicate beauties. I have only myself to blame. Still taste great, but if you're looking for a Valentine's Day gift, definitely try your local grocery store first.

Excellent Product

Received package today and immediately brought inside - chocolate was melted and discolored. Tried to request a return and got a message that return was not available.Chocolate is not eatable and has to be thrown out.Wish I could give negative stars!

I don't think that anyone should buy this item. So, why did I give it four stars you may ask? Its Ghirardelli. The product is great and I will always love it. But, I did not notice that there was no returns on this item. I guess that is why they could care less about how they ship it. My item arrived in a soft bag. Come on. Do you know what these packages go through before they are delivered? Once I pulled out the first chocolate I realized I might have made a mistake. Almost 80% of the individually wrapped chocolates were smashed and the inside filling had oozed out into the wrapper. The wrapper was sealed so they were still edible (and delicious I might add). But this was expensive and shouldn't have to pay for damaged product. I should have known better. My craving got the better of me.

The dark chocolate and caramel squares are hard to find in stores , so buying on line makes sense. Perfect size to rationalize indulgence.
