To save space, these are printed on both sides. The easiest thing to do is mark with a fine-tip Sharpie which letter is facing away, so you can easily stamp without checking back and forth. They work equally well with clay and concrete, and are a nice size.

I ordered these to use on pottery. I tried them out this past weekend and they worked perfectly. I was so surprised the first time because damp clay can be a fickle thing. I threw a bowl on the wheel and then after about 10 minutes of letting the bowl rest, I stamped in my daughter's name on the side and then stamped in "YUM!" on the inside. It turned out so cute! What I really liked about these stamps is that it was relatively easy to line up each letter since I could see it from the side. I did try to place the stamps side by side the second time, but the letters were spaced too far apart and I had to smooth the clay before doing each letter individually. Each piece is double-sided, and include each letter and simple punctuation. They were easy to clean, sturdy, and left a perfect imprint. I'm so pleased with these stamps that I'm going to order more.

I use the stamps for lettering on pavers and hand made tiles. The Victorian style is elegant and makes great looking artwork. The letters are made of sturdy plastic that creates neat and deep impressions into the clay or cement mix. Each letter stamp is set on a 1 square inch flat base that allows to space letters evenly, to keep them straight, and to prevent uneven depth of impression. The only negative is that there are two letters (or numbers) on each stamp (one on each side); therefore, the letter being stamped cannot be seen (or identified), because a completely different letter appears on the reverse, which creates many risks of irreparable errors. As an example, I can mention that recently, I had to create for a customer a plaque containing four lines of writing, with a total of 48 letters. Even with two sets of stamps, it was extremely difficult for me to complete the stamping without making mistakes. I wish the manufacturer would create sets that have the complete alphabet and numbers on individual stamps. This would not be costly as the letters are made of plastic. And it would make the life of artists much easier! If it was not for that frustrating feature, I would have given the product five stars.

As described. Much less expensive than other options but works just as well.

These were/are great. I used them to stamp "quotes" into concrete that I had poured into my backyard for steps down to the River. I suggest spraying them with PAM before stamping. It prevented the concrete from sticking to the flat portion of the stamp. Super easy to use and I liked the font.

These worked perfect for making cement walking stones as a gift for Mother’s Day.They’re made out of a sturdy plastic and are the perfect size. Very happy with my purchase. Cleaned them off right after use and can use again!

I ordered this for making stepping stones for my garden. I have not used it yet but the stamps seem to be adequate size for a 12 inch or smaller stone. I'm not that happy with the font style but it's the only what that I found that was affordable.Cleaning will be tricky. Make sure to submerge or spray off with water IMMEDIATELY after use. I will throw them in a bucket of water along with any tools I use as I'm making the stones.

Missing letters and numbers. No way to return for a refund. Made me very angry.

Beautiful effect. Easy to clean perfect sizing2 small Down sides they are double sided so takes a while to find different letters/numbers some letters have very fine details and don't always turn out the same level as others but gives a great handmade effect
