Bought this to charge a LawnBoy model 10634. The mower was over a year old & never had the battery charged so I was afraid that it might be dead. Gave this a try, it took 2 days to charge, but fully charged. The charger I received has only one light. It went from glowing red, to yellow, than to green when fully charged. Now I don't know why Lawn Boy doesn't include a parts list for the consumer with it's manual. I searched around & finally found it online. I wanted to make sure I was getting the right charger. Without a parts list you don't know for sure if the #114-1588 is the right charger. If you have this model the Parts List Catalog is in an Adobe Reader .pdf file = 0653026c-133d-4192-979d-100afa7f61f4.pdf It has every part listed. Thought I'd pass this along as I was so glad I found it. I would recommend this charger.UPDATE: Check your mower to see if it has a fuse, probably does if it has an electric start. If the fuse is blown you won't be able to charge the mower. Most likely is the problem with one review where old or new battery wouldn't charge with this charger. Found this out & thought I'd pass it along.

My 2009 Toro 20334 came with the block transformer style with no light whatsoever. My neighbor has next year model that came with this style with a single 'indicator' LED light on the unit. The only gripe I have is the lack of appropriate instruction/operation manual that should come with it. What does come with this unit is an 'instruction' manual, but only about the safe use of the product. You know, the kind of stuff that almost every product manual contains right at the beginning regarding safety e.g., don't use in wet locations etc. What I would have liked to have included is an at least simple operation explanation. I mean...is this unit acting as a trickle charger after it turns green or will you overcharge if left plugged in too long? What does a flashing red or green or yellow mean? Is the battery charging? Or not..based on the status of the LED. Information like that is surely helpful if not outright meaningful. The seemingly current, "hey, just plug it in and it'll turn green when it's charged" is not enough. I had to call a Toro dealer and the serviceman had to fill in the details.

Will try it out in the summer. Can’t comment on it now!!!
