Works great to help clean the bristles of paint brushes and rollers. Can use them again and again, extending the life of the brushes and rollers.

Where has this been all my life? My husband loves it and is upset that he has probably thrown out dozens of rollers and brushes that could have been cleaned if he had this tool.

I’ve never needed a device like this in my many decades of painting. But the nature of paint seems to have changed… all brands seem to be targeting HVLP spray application or something – paint dries faster and harder on the brush these days. Even worse, it still dries underwater! I used to toss brushes in a bucket and clean them at the end of the day… the paint would stay soft and easily removed. Not any more it seems.So a brush comb is definitely needed! And this one is perfect – the flat (or square) “teeth” of the comb are much more effective than the round wire found in other combs – the edges of the square teeth really help work the paint off the bristles… especially if you angle the comb as you use it. The stainless steel and quality plastic handle are great as well.I highly recommend a brush-cleaning liquid as well – I’m using the Brush Flush product and am liking it. If you work it into the brush, then wrap the brush in a snack bag and leave it overnight it should clean with little effort… it takes time to work – it’s not like mineral spirits or other solvents.Anyway, buy this comb without hesitation. There’s another brand with a similar build, but with a third radius for scraping rollers that fits the tiny trim rollers perfectly. I have both brands, use them both, and like them both!

Really does help clean brushes. Only thing that surprised me was the teeth are quite widely spaced.If the spacing between the teeth wasn't so wide, it would have been perfect.Still, a good tool to have

I never used to use a comb to clean my brushes, but since I started, they get a lot cleaner. I recommend this simple Hyde comb because it's well built enough and has not rusted. It's there when I need it. No complaints. In general, I like Hyde tools.

While I don't mind tossing out rollers, I spent good money on some of my new paint brushes and I wanted to ensure I could keep them in great shape for a long time.This comb does a terrific job of getting deep into the bristles and pulling out paint. It's faster, easier, and more thorough than cleaning a brush by hand. Highly recommended.

I do like the all metal design, it has proven to be much more rigid/sturdy compared to others that I have owned in the past! At times it seems like it don’t comb out some brushes as well as the combs with a little bit thinner of “bristles” but It works at getting my brushes cleaned out which is good enough for me! The roller squeegee works well on my rollers that have naps on them, it doesn’t work quite as well on foam rollers as I have found that it is a lot easier to rip them compared to some of the rubber ones I have used in the past, but given the all metal design, this is to be expected! There are a couple of improvements I can think of but when considering this price point, I really don’t know how you could do any better to be honest! I would definitely recommend this!

I'll be the first to admit that painting is a messy business -- the biggest hassle being cleanup.But if you spend money on good brushes (and you should), it's worth investing in this painter's tool.The comb part is finer, and not as harsh as the one I picked up at our local Ace Hardware store (the metal part of the latter being stamped, so it had sharp edges that would damage the brush's bristles).One additional feature of the tool is that it has two curved sections -- one for standard-diameter roller covers and one for the smaller ~1/2 inch varietyWell-made, and should last a lifetime -- at least for as much more painting that I'll do.

No sé qué piensan, pero uno como cliente sí se da cuenta de las condiciones en las que llega el producto.Al abrir el paquete, me llamó la atención que viniera sucia la envoltura protectora de burbujas. Al sacarlo del “bubble wrap”, me di cuenta de que la parte del mango negro de plástico cancerígeno tiene un golpe muy notorio en su empuñadura. Además, está mal sujeto o remachado, pues tiene juego, lo cual se siente al tan solo agarrarla. Asimismo, dos de los dientes del peine están ligeramente raspados, como si se les hubiera caído o algo. Como si fuera poco, la calcomanía del producto ya se veía remontada (manipulada) y mal colocada, sin mencionar que tampoco se apreciaba nueva. Y al removerla, pues solo confirmé mi sospecha, pues hasta sucia estaba. En síntesis, no tenía nada de “New Item” (producto nuevo), pues claramente es el producto que otro cliente regresó previamente. Hoy sí me quisieron ver la cara.Lo bueno es que la herramienta cuenta con garantía de por vida, por lo que le voy a escribir a la compañía para hacerles llegar mis observaciones acerca de su producto usado.

Sad that we can't find similar quality painting accessories made in Britain these days - they're all making their stuff in China now - so why "buy British" anymore ?

First time I`ve ever used a comb to clean my brushes and it did definitely help, still yet to try it on a roller but I`m pleased with it for my paint brushes anyway.

If you want to keep your paint brushes in good condition for a long while, I'd recommend using a comb such as this, took a bit longer than usual to get here as it is shipped from America, so beware if you need urgently. Stainless steel; so wont rust and is easy to clean, teeth are well spaced and pointed to allow getting into to brush bristles easily and the material is also thick enough not to bend when cleaning a stubborn brush. Haven't used the roller cleaner much, but overall it seems very good quality, well machined with no sharp edges, handle mounted securely etc. Great bit of kit for cleaning brushes and rollers at a very reasonable price.

Roller scraper is perfect for cleaning up, and the comb works well for brushes.My only issue with this tool is that there's no prying edge on it... I'd really prefer to be able to open a can of paint with it when necessary.
