Fancy Nancy is Always A Hit in Our House!
My daughter is five-and-a-half years old and LOVES all things girly. Some of her favorite books are Fancy Nancy and Pinkalicious so when I saw this new book, I ordered it for her. Unicorns also seem to be very "in" nowadays so I figured this book would be a perfect addition to our home library!"Fancy Nancy and the Quest for the Unicorn" is a cute, new picture book that showcases Nancy's imaginative disposition. Nancy and her best friend Bree love unicorns and Nancy's dad hides a unicorn so they can go on a quest and find it. As always, the story is cute, fun, and contains vocabulary words that help kids learn new words. This paperback book is about 24 pages long with glossy, colorful pages and a page of stickers. My daughter loves this story and has asked for me to read it to her several times already. Even my son enjoys listening to it. If you have a Fancy Nancy fan in your house, I definitely recommend adding this to your collection!

Ok not great
Book make a point to say unicorns aren’t real so if you aren’t ready for your kids childhood to be over, skip that page or buy a different book.

Sub par
This book is really nothing like the ones actually written by the author. A poor substitute compared to the rest we own. Note that the cover says inspired by author and not written by.

A Fun Story with Good Educational Purpose
This delightful story narrates the hunt for a toy unicorn, along the lines of an Easter egg hunt. So the plot suggests games for young readers to imitate. An even better feature is some beautifully integrated vocabulary expansion. New words are introduced lightly and clearly. Since there are not too many at once, it keeps things interesting, and avoids becoming tedious or distracting. I would have given the book 5 stars except for 2 interrelated details. The book is very small and thin, and the binding is paperback, so it is a little flimsy. For this reason you don't get much volume for your money. There is more substance to the average coloring book. Related to delivery, the book should be shipped with some cardboard or other support, instead of just coming in a bag that can be crammed into your mailbox and creased. Not the best set up for a book that is intended as part of a child's birthday present. . .

Love All Things Fancy Nancy In This Home
My girls love this book and make me read it to them all the time.and 1 of the books my oldest uses while learning to read. 1 of her faves to use for school reading log.Little harder than some but not bad. And good for her to read some books that are on a higher reading level time 2 time. This is the perfect 1 for any parent that teaches child 1st grade stuff with her kindergarten studies

Paperback for Nancy Fans
Bought this to go along with a Fancy Nancy doll that I gave to my three year old niece. The reading level is older kids than three years old, but it was a nice little set it is good for reading to her. It is a kids book about Fancy Nancy and she's looking for a unicorn. I wouldn't say it's a great read, but my niece enjoys it.

Magical!!
So clever once again! We love the original Fancy Nancy book and these "spin-offs" are excellent as well. Our 2 year old insisted on reading this book again... and again... and again! The Fancy Nancy books present such healthy, normal family situations, with focus on a beautiful little girl, her best friend and their siblings. Fancy Nancy is not a snob - she just likes to make the little things in her life grand! And her parents fully support her exquisite personality. What could be better! Best of all, these books (this one included) will help your child improve his or her vocabulary by taking simple words and illustrating the more complex synonym.

Inferior is fancy for not as good as the others
We enjoy the Fancy Nancy books with our kids but this one is disappointing. The story is choppy in general, and Nancy and Bree’s “lesson” of being inclusive to their younger siblings is plotted poorly, emphasizing the undesirable behavior. The book credits imply its not written/illustrated by the original duo and it shows.

Sparkly and fabulous!
My children love Fancy Nancy and her family and friends. Another book that is full of delectableness, sparkle and a bit of mystery as Nancy, Bree and their siblings set off on a quest for a lost unicorn.
