Long. The teardrop itself is 1+ inches. From the top of the teardrop to the top of the hook is another 3/4" (total length is 1.75 inches). The widest part of the teardrop is 5/8"

What are the names of the flowers in each of the earrings?

I am pretty sure these are Forget-me-nots. They are very tiny blue flowers with a yellow center.

what is the length of each earring?

The earring itself, measured from the top of the attachment loop to the bottom of the acrylic is 1 3/16 inches.

I don't find them annoyingly heavy.

Great earrings, terrible packaging

The earrings are amazing . But some people said their earrings came in a little jewelry or gift box. My husband got these for me. Like I said earrings are great but they came in a baggie. Just simple plastic baggie. Love the earrings but packing is awful
