Schaum's Outline of Linear Algebra, Sixth Edition (Schaum's Outlines)

Fundamentals are explained in very simple terms and also a plenty of solved problems. I love this book!

It's known that the schaum's outline on linear algebra is great, that's why I decided to buy it. I bought a new copy and it got minor damages in its travel, it came earlier than expected tough:)

The version I used is probably the first edition. I used it in my first linear algebra course back in 1984. I used the book to supplement the Anton's linear algebra text used in the course.

Even though explanations are lacking sometimes

Exactly what they said, and shipped quick

I can always find perspicuous proofs and abundant supplementary exercises in this text, and always try to have the latest edition available.

This book was super helpful when it came to my linear algebra class at Berkeley. If any other student needs help on MATH 54, I recommend this book!

The content of the book is good for reference and review. However the thin paper of the text makes it impractical to highlight or write notes. Paper quality is similar to newspaper and easily tears.

Contenido bueno. Muy buena opción para aprender Álgebra Líneas si estás inclinado a la ingeniería. Llegué a ver ediciones anteriores que eran más formales y rigurosas en cuanto al contenido de demostraciones. Qué lástima que haya perdido este rigor. La calidad del papel es mala.

Die gut aufgebauten Übungen und die knappen Erläuterungen helfen ungemein den Stoff zu verarbeiten. Selbst etwas konfuser Unterricht ist damit relativ leicht noch zu retten.
