Note 8 Case, Crave Dual Guard Protection Series Case for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 - Red

I've used Otterbox Symmetry series cases for years, because I thought they were the best. But, when my current cases started separating along a seam at the bottom and literally started falling apart, I looked for a replacement and they don't even sell them anymore for my phone. Even if I could find one second hand, they only had black.So, I started searching and found these CRAVE cases. They looked really nice and come in so many different colors, so I thought I'd give them a try for both my Note 10 plus, and my wife's Note 8. So, first plus for these, they actually have cases for both of these older phones in a variety of colors.I received the new cases within a few days and absolutely love them! They fit both phones perfectly and snap on very securely. The finish is beautiful, and the texture is grippy enough to easily and securely hold the phone, while not grabbing when placing in my pocket. They also don't show fingerprints or smudges. The case provides more substantial protection than my old case, with a raised edge all the way around the screen, not just the top and bottom. It also has more protection around the S-pen, where my old case left that whole corner exposed.All the ports are accessible, and the buttons are the best I've seen on any phone case. They stand out well in silver against the black case edge, and they function perfectly, with just enough resistance but very responsive 'click' when pressed. I've also had no issues with wireless charging.Bottom line, these are amazing cases at a very good price, and are my new favorite. My wife also loves hers, so it's not just me. I got blue and she got red and both colors look really nice.I highly recommend these cases!

Like the sturdiness but get slippery if hands are slightly moist. Has fallen a few times but survived the impact due the durability.

Love this case over all. The buttons sticking out on the sides sometimes causes problems. I took the Bixby button off the case so it wouldn't activate inadvertently. Tough case that looks good... What more could you want?

Exactly as described and what I wanted

I purchased this case hoping to find one that would not slip out of my hand and this one does not due to the back being somewhat grippy, but not too grippy. I have not dropped it yet so I cannot comment on how well it holds up if that happens, but it does seem like a sturdy case. When I was originally looking for a case I was skeptical to purchase one that is two separate pieces but this has not caused a problem. I've never had any issues plugging it in for charging. What I like about the phone also is that the case is carved out for the buttons on the phone and is not a covering over the buttons. I purchased the red color and it is a true red color. Would definitely recommend.

I'm quite happy with this purchase.The case fits my Note 8 perfectly in every way, staying in firmly yet easy to install, as well as remove for cleaning around screen edges as needed.Easy access for S-Pen while corner not being flimsy and still sturdy enough to protect.The action of the buttons is perfect, with a nice "click" when depressed.The back is slightly grippy which is ideal for handling but not so much it sticks when removing from pocket. Has stood up to and protected my phone from a few short drops onto linoleum and concrete.Generous headphone jack opening.The coloring is exactly what I expected. (I bought red)
