Good pattern.
As always McCalls patterns are great to work with. I purchase them a lot. But when I got this one I couldn’t use it for two weeks. It absolutely reeked of sea water. Very fishy smell. Wasn’t discolored that I could see. It just stunk. I had to take all pieces out unfold them and air them for two weeks. Fortunately the smell did not transfer to the fabric I used. A granddaughter in a dress I made and smelling like fish would be appalling. No way to foresee this one. It had to have happened in transit somewhere. It anybody’s guess how and where. Hope it doesn’t happen again.
