Get dark blue if youre leaning towards black.
Bought a large its perfect not too tight either so you could layer if need be. I'm a size twelve with curves. The dark blue is soooo pretty. Very well made no stitch out of place. Stretchy and comfy. I have large arms and it didn't feel like I was in a straight jacket. Cutest featurer is the cut outs

Love it!
Loved this dress! Ordered the blue in medium and fit perfectly and the color was really nice. I'm 5'6, 138lbs with a 6 month baby bump. Looked super cute, form fitting, sexy but not trashy. Def recommend.

So sad this didn’t work!
This dress straddles the line of sexy and classy like few can. It is thick enough to provide the warmth you’d want in a long-sleeve sweater dress, but is not so thick that it is stifling. The fabric is stretch but remains opaque, the dress hugs your curves and makes them look their absolute best! Still, as with most bodycon dresses, shapewear makes it look even better. The cut out on the front and shoulders offers an enticing peek of skin while not flashing everyone around you. Lastly, the detail of the split skirt is phenomenal—it is suggestively sexy and not in-your-face skanky. So perfect! Even with all that, I had to send it back. Wondering why???Unfortunately, the underarm area is oddly out of proportion with everything else. I read the reviews that mentioned the “arms” were tight. I took that to mean literally the arms on the dress. Since my honey likes to tell me I have “stick arms with slight shoulders” I didn’t think tight arms would be a problem for me. After trying it on, I can safely say it is NOT the ARMS of the dress that are tight but the UNDERARM (or armpit) area that is oddly sewn and much, much, much too short (I can’t think of another way to describe it). It literally felt like a wedgie of the underarms--like someone was pulling the dress up by the shoulders to hurtfully pinch me. Since the arms are stitched to the dress very well (kudos on the quality of the sewing) there was absolutely NO stretch or give in the area either.Even so, I briefly considered keeping the dress and just living with the discomfort because it just looks… So. Damn. Good!!! However, I’ve gotten old enough to live my life by a motto of being comfy. If I were younger I may have put up with the pain of how the underarm area of the dress (didn’t) fit, but I’ve learned not to compromise. If you are willing to be discomforted, get the dress, because every other thing about it is perfect!

Comfortable, Cute, but Sheer (for Beige)
It is a very nice, comfortable dress. Looks great on, but is shear. Not sure if this is an issue with any of the darker colors, but the one I ordered (Beige) you can definitely see through. Due to it being both shear and body forming, this makes it a bit difficult to find undergarments that work with the dress. This is the only reason I took one star off. The rest is great. I definitely do NOT regret the buy at all and am very excited to wear it out.A few things to note about dress fitting and sizing:* If you are flat chested like me (A cup), a bra that gives a little boost in that area is necessary for the fit to look good.* For help with sizing: I am 5'6" and fluctuate between 128-134 lbs. I have a small chest (loose measurement ~32"), skinny waist (loose measurement ~26.5"), big behind for my body (loose measurement ~37.75"). I ordered a Small and it fit well (with the exception of the bust, which can be fixed with a slightly padded bra).
