These look beautiful

It was quite the journey getting these suckers on the frets, but I got there with maybe 45 minutes-ish of work. It's best to cut them out with as little extra material as possible, stick to the fret where you want it, and then start slowly peeling back the see through protective layer. When you are about to peel the see through part off of the actual fret inlays sticker, I found it really helpful to use a 0.5mm guitar pick to help hold the fret sticker in place, kinda using the point of the pick to hold with. After exposing a little bit of the sticker from the protective see through material, I would pause and carefully move the guitar pick to where the next bit of inlay sticker is about to be exposed. It was a very slow and delicate process. The inlay stickers did not want to grab the fretboard as much as the protective see through layer wanted to grab the fret sticker, see part about using 0.5mm to help lol. These are stickers, but they are really tough and durable. I don't see these having any trouble as far as scuffing or getting damaged. Still unsure of how well they will hold on to the fretboard, but so far so good after a few hours of playing up and down the boardIdk if anyone else that has giant square/rectangle fret inlays already built into their guitar was wondering what these would look like on that guitar? If so, here you go. It definitely is not as intended, but it looks pretty alright I think

Very realistic!

Instant facelift for my oldie, entry level Fender! The quality and realisism is better than I expected. Friends actually thought that I took my guitar to a custom shop. I play a good amount (approx 1.5hr p/day) and they haven’t scratched or lifted in the month or so that I’ve placed them.Fair warning: this is not an easy install! Be prepared to block off about 2-3hrs if you want to get it right. Prep your fretboard by cleaning it thoroughly. Before you peel, you cut each fret marker individually with an exacto knife. You can’t just do one slice between each fretmarker, you have to cut at the bottom of one then the top of the other to get rid of any excess.Next, arrange all the fretmarkers to plan exactly where you will stick them. *Do this before you start sticking*. This is critical. You have to make a lot of micro adjustments to make sure they align the whole way. Because of the vine pattern, some will be further to the left or the right of the neck. When you’re ready to stick, take your time! It’s like a temporary tattoo: you peel the back, stick the sticker, then peel off the top clear film. Really press down with a hard edge (I used a guitar pick) to make sure before you peel off the top film. Peel it off slowly to prevent any lifting or to make adjustments in case the sticker starts lifting.I don’t recommend just going top to bottom, you may get yourself in a situation where you lose alignment as you get further down the neck. Again, trick is to always to double check your alignment before you stick and make any micro adjustments. I went every 3-4 frets then filled in the gaps. It’s tedious but the extra work will pay off! I have a feeling the bad reviews saying the stickers lifted was because they either didn’t properly prep the fretboard or rushed it.

Looks great. “Easy” to apply

Really enhances three look of my adorable acoustic. Took about 45 minutes to apply. I used a pic to help during the process. It appears to have a additional plastic layer on top that has started to come off with time. At first i thought the whole thing was peeling off but it actually looks better without it.

Good

The stickers look good from afar. Closer up you can see the light reflecting off them but is expected for a sticker. Only big issue is sometimes when lifting off the fret there is a popping sound assumingly from the air beneath the sticker although not visible.

Looks great

Some parts are hard to line up, just gotta go ahead a couple frets sometimes and work backwards

Survived a bad shipping trip

My package came a little bent but the decals still adhered perfectly to my fretboard! I'm a pretty aggressive guitar player and these are thin enough to stay out of the way on heavy bends, haven't even noticed them in the week I've had em on

looks real

easy to apply, appears to be genuine inlay

Where’s the backing paper?

Half of the sticker did not arrive on “backing paper”, except it was out on the cardboard paper with the instructions on it. It is Horrible and almost impossible to remove the stickers without tearing them. I sat for 30 minutes trying to get one section off and failed, if I wanted to spend a tedious amount of time for inlays then I would cut them myself.
