DaVinci GourmetClassic Cherry Syrup, 25.4 Fluid Ounces (Pack of 1)

I like the DaVinci Classic Cherry and the Black Cherry syrups.Try two ounces (1/4 cup) syrup in a 12-ounce glass. Add ice and cold seltzer (not club soda.) Mix well and enjoy. At about half the calories of a 12-ounce can of commercial soda pop, it's great. Made with cane sugar and no corn syrup of any kind. The only drawback is they use artificial as well as natural flavors. Still it tastes great. Can be servers over ice cream or used in bar drinks (such as a Tequila Sunrise. One ounce Tequila in a 12-ounce glass. Fill with ice and then almost to the top with orange juice. Drizzle DaVinci Classic Cherry syrup to make pretty designs in the drink.)

I bought this as a replacement for the cherry syrup that comes in the bottle with Maraschino cherries. We drink Manhattens at camp and like them a little sweeter. Hate just using simple syrup so we use the cherry juice from the bottle. We always empty the syrup from the bottle before the cherries are gone and end up throwing away dried up cherries, BUT NO MORE...we have been able to sweeten our cocktails easily with this adjunct cherry syrup and no longer suffer dried out cherries and the embarrassment of cherries not covered in syrup. Now we comfortably quaff copious cocktails sweetened to our liking by simply adding this amazing elixir at will. Never again will I have to discard perfectly good fruit because the juice is gone and as a side note, I have not had cherries bouncing around the floor and counter after trying to pour off the juice, This stuff has changed my life. My girlfriend's favorite soda is a Cherry Coke. I've purchased different types of syrup for her on Amazon which usually ended up sitting in my closet. That was until I picked up the DaVinci Syrup. This is very sweet and a great cherry taste. And I don't particularly like Cherry Cokes. What she does now, is she adds it to Diet Coke instead of regular Coke. What she will do though, is use 3 pumps when adding to regular Coke, but 4 pumps when adding it to Diet Coke. And even with the added pump w/ Diet Soda, it still amounts to about 1/2 the calories compared to regular soda. And believe me, that helps alot when you realize that she drinks this several times a week. This is a great product to try if you are a fan of Cherry Cokes or even on top of some shaved ice.

Good taste. 3 bottles go a long way. Add to icecream. Use in mixed drinks. In a glass of water add lime juice and make yummy cherry lime aide.

I just wish they came in plastic bottles.

This is the syrup you need for making cherry limeade sodas. We make the Italian sodas with this too. They are delicious. If you go to the Da Vinci site, you can find lots of recipes for their syrups. This and the caramel are our favorites.
