Fluker's Culinary Coop Premium Chicken Treats, Dried Insect Trail Mix, 20 oz

I am always looking for a treat for my chickens and this fits the bill. I don't give them a whole lot, as I read you are not supposed to. And for the cost I don't want to go through it too fast. But, whenever I give my chickens this treat, that is the first thing they go for. I can tell they love it. There are not just those worms in the mix, but it looks like some crickets of some sort, as well. So, it has a little extra for your buck.

I cannot speak to the flavor but my chickens seem to love them! Whereas they have an odor, it's nothing near as bad as some of the other competitors. It's a nice size bag for the value and you get a variety of different insects for your birds to enjoy. The bag is sturdy and has a reliable zipper for reseal. I'll be purchasing these for my hens going forward.

My parrot loves it as a snack.

My older chickens go for the crickets and grasshoppers while the chicks go after the smaller bugs. The hens don't always want to share with the younger birds so I like there is a good mix that keeps everyone happy. It is a bit pricey but Amazon has been the cheapest place to buy it.

Hedge hog seems to like them just fine.

I read all the reviews and thought this would be the perfect treat. I have three little hens that I love but they're very picky. They turned their beaks up at this treat. The worms and bugs are large, wow, but not too big for a chicken. They weren't crumbled, no bug dust, yes they stink but they appeared solid. I'm giving it four stars because I don't think there is anything wrong with the product, I think it's my picky hens.

My quail love it! I bought this bag because I wanted to get a few treats for the little Coturnix quail I have at home. They just go gaga for those worms! There are big old dried grasshoppers in here that they don’t really care for but the great majority of the bugs are those mealworm looking things and they love those! Because my quail or small the seems like a crazy amount of bugs for the price but I don’t know if I would feel the same way if I had like five chickens. In any case my birds love it and I would absolutely buy it again!

My girls love this blend and go nuts for it everytime I bring it out. They know the sound of the bag lol.
