I wore out my last 1 after a year off road 2000 plus miles it's great I love oval rings

I was hoping it would make a difference and I really noticed it in climbing. And that's how it's advertised and the difference is really noticeable for me, amazing. I can only recommend this, especially if you're doing a lot of climbing on your bike.

It's a subtle difference, for sure. Hope you find the picture helpful. That's the oval laid over the round ring in the same tooth count. Where you'll notice the difference is in climbing...either you will either find yourself climbing a section you struggled with before, or realizing that you used to be more tired after a particular climb. Definitely recommend getting on the oval bandwagon. Do it!

Not dramatic but maybe a 5-10% overall improvement in power transfer over my previous round chainring. I’ll be getting a second one for my hardtail.

I used to have the 30 tooth oval Raceface chain ring and I'm really very happy and decided to buy this 28 tooth for less effort pedaling as there are very steep hills for enduro riding where I live. The raceface products are the best, I love them.

Letztes Kettenblatt war verschlissen, also mal was neues ausprobiert. Hatte bisher noch nie ein ovales Kettenblatt montiert und war gespannt auf das Fahrgefühl.Heute erste Tour bei übelstem Matsch und Dreck. Ersten paar Kilometer habe ich das neue Blatt noch durch den veränderten Lauf gespürt, aber das lässt schnell nach und man gewöhnt sich und merkt irgendwann keinen Unterschied zu einem runden Blatt. Bergauf hatte ich den Eindruck, dass man entspannter kurbelt. Der Matsch hat zeitweise ganz schön Kettenblatt und Kette eingesaut, aber lief dann trotzdem perfekt, ohne knacken und knirschen.Kann ich ohne Bedenken empfehlen, fahre seit Jahren vorn raceface.
