Rubie's Costume Patriotic Collection Adult Statue Of Liberty Costume

I would post a picture of my mother when she tried it on, but she would kill me! The material is so nice it hangs really well. She is a medium petite so it is a little bit long & loose but she can totally work with it. The crown is definitely not the same quality as the outfit but it does the trick. It is nice because there are no sparkles on this outfit. The green is perfect for the Statue of Liberty- or, as this one is going to be known as the Statue of Granny.

I wore this costume to a Halloween Party and was the hit of the Evening..... the order arrived on timeCarefully packaged...the crown is nicely made of a spongy material and wil fit any size head it isso fun....the torch is well made of a harder substance and is very impressive.......But the DressIs a Very Pleasant surprise...I thought because of the price it would be cheesy material and justthrown together...NO ! The material is soft and strong and a very nice quality it is well made as you can see from the neat a large seams...I thought it would be too long but it came to my ankles..I am 5ft 4in..I bought one size fits all-regular it was perfect...youCan’t go wrong if you purchase this item...you will receive complements when you wear it !

This costume was affordable ($20) so I knew quality was a gamble. I wasn't disappointed but there were a few problems. However I'll start with the pros. The color is nice. It's big and loose which is good for me since I'm 5'6 195lbs. IMO it's better to have a costume too big than too small. The large amount of material makes it easy to change the style a little. The length is decent but my feet do show. I plan on wearing flip-flops so it won't add much height. The neck area is very wide but there's a string to tighten it. I will likely change the neckline on it.Now for the cons. The crown is ugly, huge, and made of cheap foam. It's similar material to those giant foam hands people wear at sporting events. I plan to make my own crown and torch. I added photos to show a few things that were wrong w the costume. Where the robe attaches to the shoulder it's slightly ripped. The lower part of the robe has a gap of material that should have been sewn into the elastic but it wasn't. The threading is also coming undone at the neck. These things aren't a huge deal for me because I can sew the problem areas. If I didn't know how to sew I'd return it.Overall I'm satisfied. It would have cost me alot more time and money to buy the fabric and make it myself so I'm happy it only requires small alterations. Can't beat $20

Costume was fine but the material was very gross and cheap, and the crown was bent out of shape and couldn't be fixed.

Costume fit, I'm currently 169lb and afraid it was going to be tight. Usually never buy one size outfits, but this worked out great. I did have trouble trying to figure out the drape and was thinking of just pinning it back. There is double fabric on the drape and if you separate, it becomes a sash. The top piece of fabric goes behind you. Hopefully this helps.

Decent material, comfortable, and fits nicely. For once, and 'one size's product fits! (I'm a 22 for reference).

This costume is awesome! I wore it for an entire week to market in all of my accounts and it lasted well (still looks new). I am almost 6 feet tall and was worried about the length but it was great. Material was nice and comfortable and lays well. I had to use hair clips to keep the crown on, but it was very manageable and stayed in place (clipped it in the back at the bottom and had a hair clip at the top to keep the crown from sliding back. I purchased the torch and mask separately on Amazon also. Would definitely recommend.

This is a nice, not too thin costume! I only wish it included the torch.
