FenderAlder Telecaster Body - Vintage Bridge Routing - Candy Apple Red

This alder Fender Telecaster body arrived in mint condition. It's medium weight and all the routes were cut with precision. The finish isn't too thick or too thin either. It's a Goldilocks Telecaster body. The only holes I had to drill were for the control plate and pickguard. I joined this body with a MIJ maple neck and it fits perfectly snug. The neck pocket was also perfect. I didn't need to add a shim for the neck angle. The guitar sounds and plays great. This is a real deal, genuine Fender Telecaster body. I'm very happy with it.

All holes are pre-drilled except the pick-guard. But, remember this is a vintage body so the holes for the neck pickup are also pre-drilled. I set this up as a vintage Tele with a 5-hole pickguard and the neck pickup mounted into the guitar. It also only takes vintage sized bridges so I installed a vintage 3 saddle Gotoh bridge. I used a Fender roasted maple neck with medium tall frets and it fit perfectly. I installed a vintage custom shop 1962 neck pickup and vintage custom shop Broadcaster bridge pickup with no problems. Beautiful finished product- a modern blackguard that plays beautifully.

I ran into a real nice Tele neck at a second hand shop this weekend and wanted a body to join it with. I'm not a huge stickler for where bodies are made in, but I do like quality and wanted it to be a Fender body. It arrived in a day and it looks great and everything fits as it should. Not too heavy too, the whole guitar is a tad over 8 lbs, which is not abnormal for a Tele. Very happy with the purchase and even happier with my new Tele.

The package came in a fender box and had a box in that that had the body wrapped in one layer of bubble wrap and that thin foam stuff. I opened the package and found a huge dentI need this to fix my main guitar and I know it will get bumps eventually but a huge dent that splintered the wood underneath is unacceptable for the price of this body.

Nice router work and finish. Although the router cit out for the bridge is not covered by the Fender bridge as it is slight larger than the bridge and a small portion is visible after the bridge installation.

Well crafted. Excellent finish. I didn't have to make any modifications.This was an experiment. Build a new Telecaster from genuine spare parts. Added a toasted maple neck, Duncan pickups, Fender hardware...success. A slight neck adjustment, done. Very pleased.An odd color for a Tele, but I like it!!!
