stated size is Full/Queen but it is much too big for a full size bed, and nothing can be done about that unless the bed is lifted much further up from the floor. Otherwise, I really liked it a lot.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this quilt! I will admit that right out of the box I was almost immediately regretting my decision. So, if this happens to you just remember one thing. Wash it right away. As soon as I washed it the quilt got immensely softer. That is the reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars for softness. It is still not the softest, but it seems as if that will come with simply breaking the product in a little.Putting the softness aside the two biggest factors for making this product a solid 5 star product is the weight and the size. I naturally run hot...like real hot! Needless to say I am a very hot sleeper, and that is why I love this quilt so much. It is so light weight that I don't wake up in a pool of sweat if it is above 60 degrees outside! I have struggled finding something to cover myself with besides just the sheet because I, just like everyone else, like to sleep with a blanket too! But most of the time that isn't possible because I'd have to crank the AC to 60 degrees to keep cool enough to sleep with most comforters/blankets. I think that this is probably going to be one of the biggest reasons you will either love or hate the quilt. If you are looking for something to keep you super warm, cozy, or something that is weighted, then this isn't going to work for you. But if you want something really light that you can use year round then you will absolutely love this quilt!!One other big plus for me that I will touch on real quickly is that this is oversized. Meaning it's going to hang off a lot more than your traditional quilt/comforter of the same bed size would. I think it is important to note this since the way it fits your bed may impact whether you actually want the quilt. For example, if you plan on using a comforter over it, you should prob know that this may hang out past your comforter unless you tuck it in. The reason that this is such a big positive for me is because of the classic blanket tug-of-war battle I USED to endure every night!! I say used to because that is no longer the case! This may sound silly but I never used an oversized blanket before so I honestly had no idea what oversized actually looked like! Suffice to say that it is oversized enough to end a decade long war in one night!

This is the bee's knees. I love this. It's long enough, wide enough, light weight enough so in this hot summer weather all I need is my sheets and this and I am comfortable. It's a perfect summer substitute for a blanket and it's big enough for a king bed.It's also a great coverlet during the winter when you're wanting a nice cover up without a lot of weight but still want a nice look to your bed.The design is made with holes, not stitching, so it's breathable and when the dogs scratch to make a nest, nothing pulls out. The holes are really pinpoints so it's not like it's going to tear because something catches. It's just not stitching which is fine because nothing pulls out. No threads hanging and with the tiny holes, even my 3 dogs haven't "injured" it.It washes like a dream. No wrinkles, no pilling, no fading! I hang it on the clothesline because it really is too large for a dryer and it's summer which is clothesline weather. Come winter, I figure it gets what the dryer can do for it and then it gets to hang out over the upstairs railing for a morning.I have washed it several times and it hasn't shrunk or faded or gotten the least bit gnarly. AND IT'S BIG ENOUGH FOR A KING SIZED BED!! PLUS!! It's affordable. You don't need to surrender your first born to get this bedding!!I don't know why it's so hard to find bedding that actually fits a king sized bed that doesn't cost a fortune. Even then sometimes it's either not long enough or not wide enough for what one needs. Most king sized bedding leaves no room for cover hogs or restless sleepers but this does the trick. I couldn't be happier with this.The photo doesn't show the pillow shams, but they are just like the coverlet and wash just as well. They are pillow shams. They fit a king pillow just as they ought to and don't try to split apart in the middle like some do.It's soft to lie on top of, it washes and dries as it ought to, holds up under use including people under it and multiple critters on top of it and you won't go broke buying it... you couldn't ask for anything more.You just can't go wrong with this one!

**The photo is of a FULL/QUEEN coverlet on a KING bed.**My partner and I use separate blankets and I was hoping for a coverlet that would be slightly smaller than my king bed for only me to use, so I might cut this in half to make two blankets. As others have said, this coverlet is very reminiscent of a hotel bedspread look, which I don't mind. It is slightly shiny. The "spa blue" color is fairly true to the pic - a slightly greenish, slightly grey blue. It still pairs okay with my teal sheets that are more green (also purchased on Amazon - the LuxClub 6 PC Sheet Set Bamboo Sheets in Light Teal). The floral pattern is nice - as noted by others, it is heat embossed in a pattern of small dots instead of being embroidered, which I consider a plus because of my cats. They won't get their claws stuck in any threads. It is quite thin, not super soft but that's not important to me as I sleep with a sheet. It's perfect for summer with my air conditioner. It's substantial enough that I'm not uncomfortable with just the sheet and not too cold, but thin enough that I don't get too hot. Previously I was using a fleece blanket that trapped heat and I'd wake up during the night because I had overheated.I have not washed it so I can't comment on how well it will hold up. For the price, if it doesn't last more than a year or so, it's still a good deal. The pillow shams are somewhat too big on my standard size fluffy pillows.UPDATE: I chopped it in half and finished the edges (2nd and 3rd photos). Each half is a great size for one person to use without playing tug-of-war with the blankets, and from most angles you can barely even tell because the coverlet lays so nicely on the bed. Happy with this purchase!
