Fits perfectly. No leaks. Comes with pipe thread tape (Teflon tape). The locking screw did not break because I did not over tighten it. Yes it will make a squeezing noise as you use water and build pressure in the pipe, but only if the hose bib valve is open. Once you close the hose bib, there will be no noise.

They do their job as a back-flow preventer/air lock. I liked that they came with plumber's tape. For an outside hose connection this is a good choice.I would pick a different product for a utility sink faucet. At low flow for hand washing, they make a loud, high-pitched squeal that is just obnoxious. It also does not handle the aerator flow well, resulting in the water flowing out weird.

This Brass 3/4" Connector Backflow Preventer Vacuum Breaker is a well made product that gets the job done! It is made of solid brass, so it is very sturdy. I have multiple of these, and I've never had a problem with any of them. The only issue is if I forget to take them off my sprinkler system before the company comes to blows the sprinklers out, they take them off and they get "misplaced"!It appears to do its job, as everytime I turn on water on a circuit near it in the house it will spray water out. I expect that is due to the change in pressure. Its irritating, especially if you are right near it when it happens. However I suppose that means it is working!

I got 2 for a little more than the price of one at a big box store. Recommended,

Water leaks out after water pressure is removed, making a mess in the garage.
