Primitives by Kathy 22663 Chevron Trimmed Box Sign, 4" x 3", Stupid Things

Unfortunately I returned as chose something else but it was exactly as pictured and described received fast and was packaged well

This is a somewhat limited review of the boxes being sold by “Primitives by Kathy.”It’s difficult, at best, to write a review of something you’ve never held in your own hands, or even seen in person. While I did purchase two of these boxes, I took advantage of Amazon’s offer to ship them directly to two of my best friends, both of whom (that’s right, I said whom - it makes me feel smarter than I really am), so I never got to see them up close and in person.For me, it was more about the sentiment expressed on these little boxes, than it was about the boxes themselves. I’m one of those guys who seldom verbally expresses himself. And, while a greeting card is nice, you’re not paying for the card, so much as you’re paying for the sentiment expressed on it. So, for a few bucks more than the cost of a greeting card, why not send something that can be put to use, while still carrying a beautiful sentiment.One of the friends who I sent these boxes to lives across the country from me, and the other lives several hundred miles from me. Both are men who are in their 70’s, and who I might never get to see again, due to our “advanced” age, along with the Coronavirus pandemic that’s raging across the U.S. and the rest of the world.Both of my friends who received these gifts were very happy with them. One was nice enough to send me a photograph of the box he received. It looks great sitting on his bookcase shelf.Note: If you do decide to have Amazon ship these (or anything else) to someone, be sure to give them a heads-up, to let them know to expect them. One of my friends received a set of black bedsheets, instead of the sentimental box. My other friend, and his wife, spent several days trying to figure out who gifted them. That was my bad; I should have had Amazon include a note to let them know who sent the boxes to them.Bottom line: If you don’t buy one of these for yourself, buy one for someone else, to let them know how you feel about them. If you don’t have anyone else to send them to, feel free to send one to me. <smile>

There was enough room on the backside I put a lil note to each of my friends as well.It was the perfect gift.

I purchased this plaque to hang on the wall because it symbolizes the close friendship that my daughter and I share.

I have had this product for years, and it hasn’t disappointed me. I put it on a check with a few small plants and it looks really good. Very happy with this purchase.

What else can I say? This was everything I expected and arrived fast. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Brought for daughter

Bought this as a gift for a friend. Sums us up perfectly.

I bought two of these, for friends going through rough times. There is not much to them, they are a hollow wooden box, but I've bought them before and knew what I was getting. A nice little gift. Both friends have them in their living rooms, and really seemed to like the sentiment.

Much much smaller than I expected but still going to make a cute gift.
