Vickerman Carmel Pine Cone Artificial Christmas Tree in Burlap Base, 3'

I really like this little table top tree and was perfect for my small cottage. I was disappointed that the top branches were coming apart as well as two lower branches. It was too late before Christmas to exchange, nor was there any stock left. I was able to re wrap those broken spots with green garden tape. Had to do a little damage control in the arts and crafts room LOL. So for that, one star less. Other than that, very pleased.

There were mixed reviews about this tree, but I ordered it anyway, because the picture looked like the type of tree that I wanted, and the size was just right. I'm glad that I decided to ignore the negative reviews, because it is just what I was looking for. I would have given it 5 stars if the base was better. All of these small trees seem to have a base that is not the right proportion for the rest of the tree. I bought a terracotta flower pot, painted it green and gold, and put the whole thing into that. (If you seal the hole in the pot with duct tape, and put in about 2-3 inches of sand, you can get the tree seated well, and nice and level.) I like a tree with some space between the branches, so that the ornaments have room to hang, without being crowded by the branches below. This tree has that quality, and was right for me. If you like a bushy tree, then it would not be right for you. I also liked the pine cones that were on it. I use a lot of natural elements on my tree, so it worked really well with my other ornaments. It definitely took some time to get the branches arranged and "fluffed up" after being squashed in the box, but I have found that to be the case with every artificial tree I have ever bought, so I did not consider that to be a big negative. Since it is a small tree, I can put the whole thing in a big contractor's trash bag, and it will be ready to decorate next year, with no "fluffing" at all. It is well made, and I expect that it will grace my table for many years to come.

Just the perfect tree to put in my front bay window. I put some little lights and ornaments on the tree and it was done. Could not ask for anything better.

I'm a huge fan of real Christmas trees for reasons of sustainability, given that pretty much all fake trees are made from plastic and more often than not, produced under dubious conditions. But after learning that a family member has a serious allergy to pine trees, this is the option I had for their health. This product is definitely a fake tree - it's not lifelike once you get close. But it fluffs up pretty good with a little fussing around, and it is markedly more realistic than a LOT of fake trees out there at a budget price. With ornaments and lights, it looks really cute and I'm happy with it. There are a few things that could be improved:1) The base is a little too small to keep it from being tippy. I solved this by putting the tree in a flowerpot, which actually looks nicer than the burlap base.2) There are random wires throughout the tree that have no "foliage" on them. I went through with a pair of wire cutters and just clipped them off.3) The pine cones are a nice realistic touch but a lot of them aren't attached well. I wired and glued more than a few back together.All in all, a good purchase for the price.

This tree is adorable. Perfect for an apartment or someone going for a more minimal approach to the holidays. I really truly love it, and can’t wait to decorate it. Only problem, and I think we may be the only ones who had this issue— it smells musty, like mildew. I only just unboxed it and started adjusting the branches, and I’m hoping upon hope that it airs out over night. I’ll adjust my star rating to five if it airs out, but until then, I sadly have to give it only three. This is no way to go through the holidays, as I’m across the room and can still only smell mildew. Will probably buy some of those pine scented sticks to hang in the branches to mask the odor.UPDATE: Odor is gone unless you shove your face into the branches. Easy solution— don’t shove your face into the branches.This tree is absolutely adorable and beautifully made. Very, very happy with the purchase. I’ve updated my rating to five stars. :)

I love this little tree. I bought it in November 2018 because we were living on a bus and fifth wheel and needed a small tree for our space for the holidays. It worked perfect. This year we are back in a real house so I put it up in our dining room with a bigger tree in the living room. (Id still have a small table top tree but my partner wanted a larger real tree)I’m partial to fake trees as I don't like killing trees just to decorate our house. This little tree is perfect for a table top tree. I wore gardening gloves when I fluffed the branches out otherwise I would have been cut to shreds.The little pine cones are cute! I used copper wire fairy lights and some Swedish straw ornaments I bought from The Wooden Wagon and on amazon. Nice, simple, and sweet!

"Poems are made by fools like me, but only God can make a tree." Almost. This little tree comes all smooshed up and you fluff it to he shape that you want. If you are the creative type, it's really fun and you will enjoy doing it.It is even lovelier than is pictured. It is very graceful and natural. The needles are quite fine, so it may not complement other items that you may have. I have a garland that is pretty chunky. My solution is to get some natural tree branches and poke them in so that the tree has some elements similar to the garland. And, it will make it smell piney.The only thing negative about it is that it smells a bit moldy. I'm going to set it outside in the fresh air for awhile to see if the smell will go away. The added pine branches should help. Bottom line- love, love, love!
