100% Organic Cotton Covered Wool Filled Pillow Standard/Classic Size

I initially received a wool pillow inside of a cotton pillow case with zipper. I wanted the wool pillow with a zipper (not the case with the zipper) as I intended to adjust the wool batting inside. Customer Service was prompt to respond to my complaint, they sent me a return label and once they received the original shipment they sent me the pillow I wanted. This pillow meets my needs although I would have liked both a zippered pillow and additional pillow case (which is what I thought I had initially ordered). Also, they don't say so online but the product is made in China and it's not clear where the wool is sourced. As others have mentioned, the batting does flatten out and it can get a bit bunchy/knotty. I'm someone that normally sleeps on my back using a millet/buckwheat pillow so I like the "hardness." I've switched recently to wool because it's firm but still soft and accommodates my change in sleep pattern (I now sleep on my side). I do find myself having to flip the pillow in the middle of the night to maintain that fluffy-feel, but it doesn't bother me.

This pillow was package very nice and I love the organic covering I suggest another covering over it because I dont plan on removing the wool for every wash . after getting use to it after a few times sleeping on it I really like how its natural no chemical smell , firm with just the right amount of softness for your head , finally getting some zzzz's

So when I ordered this pillow I was expecting a lanolin scent. The pillow smells funky to the point where I wouldn't be able to use it (right away). I took it out of its plastic sheath and let it sur out for almost two weeks now and I'd say that about 70% of that intense scent is gone. Ny grandpa used to own sheep and farm life/sheep/wool/pastures- that's all something I'm keen on, but I guess that's not exactly what I scented. I think it should also. I said that I'm very sensitive to scents and I think in another 2 weeks hopefully it will be better. I just have it airing out. I might re-review it then. I am excited to have a totally 100% organic wool mattress and pillow though. Any smell I suppose I'll deal with for the comfort of knowing its safer than anything else off gassing.

Terrible choice for a pillow. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! This pillow lasted for about a month before it became flat and caused neck pain. We thought washing them would help liven them up some. We washed them according to the instructions listed on the label and it ruined them. I don't understand how anyone is able to "fluff" them up after washing them. The wool turned in to solid lumps, the size of potatoes. The wool did not dry for over a week, even after hanging them outside in Texas and drying them later in high heat in the dryer. We were EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of the pillow and the poor customer service in response to the issue.

A review of mine about organic sheets got placed here by mistake. This is my second of these pillows, and they're a great product! Comfortable and well made. Highly recommended.

Found fairly comfortable but a bit over stuffed. Smells like wet dog.

When we first got his pillow it had a real musty smell! I was worried it wouldn’t go away but after reading about wool more I learned it just needed aired out for a couple days after being compressed for so long. After two days the smell is gone! I bought this for my daughter and she loves it!

This is an excellent garnetted 100% wool pillow, which is both comfortable & supportive (medium-firm). It sleeps cool & is breathable. It has a large zipper, making it fully adjustable. It compacts down a bit after sleeping on it for a few days, which makes weekly fluffing in a dryer a necessity.
