Easy to bind
Love Spektrum radio control system

Super cool transmitter
I love that the transmitter is small but strong enough that I can enjoy it. The range on the transmitter is amazing for the size of this one. It allowed me to easily (Bind) program it to my vehicle. The 5 channel transmitter is split into the batt, str, and thr are plug in ready but for the aux and the other open channel you have to have a extra battery and a Y splitter servo adapter cord in order for you to use them.

Spektrum or nothing
Got back into the hobby a few years ago and picked up a Spektrum DX5-C then moved to a DX5-Pro when I needed more model memory. Amazing controllers that are easy to use and loaded with options. I love having 100 models on a single controller. Just have to pick up a new receiver when adding a model. These 5 channels work great for the Tamiya Semi kits.

Good little receiver
Worked great in my RC dragster with an extra channel to maybe use for headlights down the road. Very compact.

Love the 3 additional channels.
I originally thought "crap, I dont have a bind plug handy I dont think" and I came to realize Spektrum updated to a button - bind procedure on these newer models! Bound perfectly in seconds, and 5 channels means 3 extra channels for fun! Giving 4 star as Spektrum does come at a little bit of a premium for cost, but I've enjoyed it thus far.

Great company, great products
Easy to bind using the new bind button. This is my 2nd spektrum reciever never had a problem with them, great company.
