Vintage Christmas Ceramic Collectibles Paperback – October 11, 2004

If you are a vintage Christmas collector, this is a great book with a lot of information and photos. The book arrived in perfect condition. I am very pleased with it. However, it is a shame that it cost as much as it does.

This is a very valuable Christmas ceramic reference book. Use it all the time.

I love this book!! It has the best photographs that invoke the greatest memories!! I am quickly wearing out my copy and have had it only a few months!! I had no idea that older Christmas decorations were so fabulous until going to an estate sale and seeing an entire room filled with old 1940's to 1950's Christmas decorations all marked 10 cents to a few dollars!! I purchased almost everything in the room!!! I went crazy, without knowing the true value of what I was buying!! And when I found out!!!! I really went crazy. I buy vintage Christmas all the time and so far I have no real competition in my area. I love the ceramic figures that are so perfect and still in their box. Candle-holders, pixies, angels, Santas, all the different figures with all the beautiful paint and sparkle before plastic and cartoonish figures. And the value is amazing, because I am not the only one looking to re-create my childhood! I find this book to be very current with the values going on right now. It has a wonderful representation of many styles and brands. It is also very well organized.I highly recommend this book for anyone in the Christmas Ceramic collectible field or anyone who wants a walk down memory lane. You won't regret it!

If you collect any retro Christmas figurines this is the book for you. The only problem is that it makes you want to collect them all. Great book, one other problem, I've had to buy one for both my sisters, my niece, my Aunt and my Mom. It can get expensive. LOL.

The best book ever - I want more. Few books on ceramic collectibles have the passion of this one. Tons of pics to help you identify those illusion Chrismas figurines

This is a handy resource for collectors or a fun "look book" for those with a casual interest in Christmas ceramics. The photos are large and clear. There's a pleasing variety of categories, styles, and manufacturers.

Walter Dworkin's book includes many sought-after pieces from the mid-century, but surprisingly, some of the rarest (and most expensive) were noticeably overlooked. I started my own vintage Lefton and Commadore ceramic Christmas collection and bought the book as a "go-to" for my kids when I pass on so that they have an idea of each piece's worth. So I was somewhat, but not completely satisfied.
