I like it!
It came well packed, but package is heavy and one corner of loading ramp was slighted dented, easily straightened out. Ez to assemble. It was a little wobbly with just 4 tie downs. I added 2 more truck side low and to middle attached to truck bumper bracket and now rock solid. Took a trip out of town on bad paved and bumpy dirt roads and rock solid,

Great product, use it all the time
Been using this carrier for over a year for 8+ track days and works perfectly every time. Mine does not sway, however I do not use the included hitch tightener. I bought the âCZC AUTO Hitch Tightener Heavy Dutyâ and it locks the carrier in with very little movement. Maybe a beefier tightener will fix the sway.My bike is probably 425lbs at most and the carrier does not flex during loading or transport. For the people who have had issues with buckling, maybe it was a bad unit.Overall this carrier has made my life so much easier. Itâs easy to install and put the bike on and has allowed me to travel to many events in the comfort of my jeep. It also stores in the garage very conveniently with a minimal footprint. Great value for the money, Iâd recommend to anyone who canât have a proper trailer

Like it, Good value, could be lighter, needs traction tape on ramps, better paint would be nice too.
It's almost perfect but it should have some non skid already on the ramps and it is also back breaking heavy but that is understandable because we want a unit that can be maxed out and hold up at 70-80mph for 1500 miles and it does. I was hauling a lighter bike, a NSR250 at about 300lbs so it was far from maxed out but I will also need to haul an FZ1 at 500lbs+ish. I read about the some of the lower cost aluminum ones cracking so I went for this unit. It would be nice if someone built one that was steel where needed and aluminum when possible and that might make it less back breaking. The ramps and maybe the tie down posts could be aluminum possibly but cost might rise too much. I would pay for one that was lighter and still as strong where necessary. Over all it is solid and makes you feel safe. Caution when tying down because any flex will allow your bike to bang into your tailgate and leave some dents. It is easy enough to push most bikes up by yourself especially with some practice but more challenging to get the bike stable without hitting your tailgate while you get a strap on. I also saw that this one had the longer loading ramp and I think that helps a lot in terms of having a lower ramp angle so you can more easily push a bike up, especially by yourself. After a few uses it became pretty easy and I double tied everything and checked it along the trip to make sure she was holding. I would have liked to see a better rust proof paint of coating. The paint is thin and delicate and it rusts super quick where exposed even though I keep it in the garage and it has barely seen rain. They need to spend a few extra bucks priming it better and adding a few more coats or powder coating. Overall it seems like the least costly one I could find that would be solid enough to give me piece of mind over 1500 mile trips. Good value to me.

3000+ miles; works great with one caveat
I used this rack to take my Triumph Street Twin (437lbs dry) from California to Vermont, and had no issues. It was quick and easy to assemble, and everything feels pretty high quality. I was able to get the bike on and off by myself with just a little bit of a running start, but neither my hitch nor my handlebars are that high, so you might need assistance depending on your setup. The one *big* caveat is, if you follow the instructions that come with it, they'll tell you to tie the bike down to the four lower tiedown points on the rack and go for it. That might be fine for short, gentle trips around town, but on the highway, the bike sways front to back (side to side from the bike's point of view) like *crazy*! Within 15 minutes of driving on the highway I hit a bump and the bike's handlebar smacked into the back of my van. I was watching it in the rear view camera and I thought for sure the thing was going to fall right off. Luckily my van has some beefy hinges higher up, so I added some stabilizing straps going from those to the top of the bike, and that took all of the sway out of it. With those, you could probably even forego the forward lower straps tying down to the rack, but I always use those anyway for redundancy. So as long as you add some upper anti-sway straps, the rack works great, but I wouldn't go far without them. Also don't forget to move your license plate somewhere visible or you might get pulled over in Nevada. đ

This is a piece of crap! Don't buy it
This turd does not hold its weight , my sport bike is 450lbs and this thing bounced all over even with all the useless set bolts. This weak built unit creased in the middle of the platform and actuallytwisted .. def not what was anything close to what was read or viewed... even after watching you tube videos before purchasing.. half way thru my trip to Florida I had to add safety straps to the frame of the unit over the top of the bike downt to the hitch and crank it to help support the bike from over stressing the strap arms which also one side twisted... this is not worth the stress or anxiety or when damage to your vehicle .. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYONE ... SPORTBIKE UNDER 500 LBS OR DIRTBIKE .. THIS IS BRIGHT IDEA WITH NO TESTING OR THOUGHT BEHIND STABILITY .. AS IF IT WAS RUSHED TO MARKET FOR SUCKERS LIKE ME THAT WANT TO ENJOY THEIR BIKE WHEN GOING ON FAMILY ROAD TRIPS. IF I COULD GIVE IT NEGATIVE STARS IT BE -10

Held a 420 lbs bike
The frame itself is pretty sturdy. Easy to assemble even with the instructions coming damaged. I was missing 4 bolts and couldn't wait for replacements. My motorcycle is 420 lbs the carrier is 98 lbs (518 lbs total) and my tounge weight capacity is 600 lbs. Held it easy. I do recommend to attach straps to the carriers to help stabilize it even further. I have traveled a total of 700 miles so far and have not had an issue yet. I was able to load and unload my bike with ease by myself. But 420 lbs motorcycle is about as heavy as I'd go with my set up.
