Sony FE 35mm F1.4 GM Full-Frame Large-Aperture Wide Angle G Master Lens Black

This lens is a perfect fit for my A7CR - fast, optically fantastic, lightweight (relatively speaking), well-built, and compact. So sharp it is ridiculous. Autofocus is spot on and very fast paired with the aforementioned camera. This was the first lens I purchased with my recent camera equipment refresh cycle and would likely be my choice if I had only one lens. The fast aperture allows very low light work and the lens performs so well wide open. Also, since it is a first party lens, it works with Sony's lens breathing compensation, which is available on newer Sony bodies during video shooting. Highly recommended!

Len is nice and sharp. Versatile, great for travel and on the go portrait photography.

Let me say this, I don't like spending much money. But ive decided to pick up photography as a new recent hobby and after upgrading from a iPhone 11 Pro. I purchased a Sony a7c and this lens.coming from someone that knows absolutely nothing about these types of cameras and settings. I was a bit afraid spending this much Money to get into the hobby ( I don't enjoy upgrading once I get use to something so I decided to go all out at first).first off this lens is AMAZING. Focus is amazing, weight is amazing. it is a great lens for everything I throw at it. I mostly take car photography and street. After taking a few hours watching videos on this lens and how to use it. ive taken some great pictures. I lent my setup to my buddy that takes pictures professionally and he was blown away by its performance. Great lens. Don't worry about the price. You will not regret your purchase one bit.Edit: After almost 2 years with this lens, It is still my #1 lens. Every photo I have ever taken with it looks AMAZING. Super fast auto fucus on my m a7R V. Ive used it in hard rain, snow, mud, and 110 degree conditions and its never failed. If you are looking for a 35mm lens... This is the one.

This lens is very sharp and lightweight, producing fantastic image quality and high-resolution photos on my Sony A7r5.

I like it. The focal length is great for landscape and close ups. The aperture is wide so it allows you shoot indoor with no problems. Autofocus is quick.

I bought this lens to work with my A7iV. The images are sharp and the this lense has a good build quality. I'm enjoying using it very much.

While G-Master lenses have a high price tag, I never get disappointed with them. I was very impressed with the lens performance under low light and the 35mm was a nice fit for my use case, which is to record video logs. I haven't used it for other scenarios, like street photography. However, it's compact enough that I may use it for that in the future.

I am a big fan of the 35mm focal length. I consider this a do it all prime lens.I purchased this lens after reading reviews about it, and it lives up to the hype.The 35mm 1.4 GM lens produces pictures with great colors, beautiful rendering and fantastic sharpness.I really don’t know how Sony managed to achieve this. I used this lens as my primary lens on a trip to Europe and it did not disappoint!The images in Venice, Italy were superb. It was especially great in low light at night to capture the beauty of Venice at night. It focused quickly and accurately under challenging light conditions on my A7R III.I’m seriously impressed!I have since sold my Zeiss Milvus 35mm 1.4 that I adapted to my Sony. The GM is far superior.If you have to buy just one lens, this is it!Highly recommended!
