Mine have an odor not like leather. And I have to use the very tip of the fingers to text. Other than that the look fine and fit well.

Just got them. They fit very well and are very soft and flexible, not stiff. They STINK! Strong synthetic plastic (PU Leather which is polyurethane) smell. They are outside my slider door in between the screen to air out. I could not wear these with this strong synthetic chemical smell in an enclosed area (like a car). Hopefully they will air out. I do not expect them to be warm in very low temps, plastic is plastic! It does not have the insulating properties of real leather.There is NOTHING real about these. Synthetic knit lining is not cashmere or anything natural. Therefore limited warmth. Again, they are very soft and supple, but how long they will remain that way depends on the amount of the (stinky) plasticizers used to make them soft. Since they are here, I will try them out IF I can eliminate or significantly reduce the smell.

These work really well but look like regular gloves. I needed them because my car is touchscreen and I want to be able to make a call in the cold without taking off my gloves. I am thoroughly impressed and the dark purple is really great. My hands are large and slim. If you have large hands that are not slim, you may want the size up from a large.
